The report highlights communities discriminated on work and decent, persistence of slavery and discrimination, prohibitions and restrictions on the CDWD, modern slavery emanating from traditional slavery, and the impact of slavery on the development paradigm of the CDWD.
According to the local rights experts, the total CDWD population is estimated to be 2,838,032 persons, or 65 per cent of the total population. Among them, the Hratin population is estimated at 1.9 million.
